  • Mozambique: Ninth International Cashew Conference

    Sep 16th, 2015

The CTA has announced that from Sept. 21 to 24, 2015, Mozambique will host the Ninth International Cashew Conference under the auspices of the African Cashew Alliance (ACA) in partnership with the Institute for the Promotion of Cashews (INCAJU) and the Cashew Industries Association (AICAJU).

This event, held annually on a rotating basis, brings together actors in the value chain of cashew worldwide, including producers, traders, processors and service providers.

Taking into account the strategic importance of cashews in the country, it is expected that the conference will publicize different technologies involved in the production and use of cashew nuts, to reveal the potential of the sector and promote existing business opportunities, thereby contributing to support for and the appreciation of Mozambican cashews at both the national and international level.
