  • Forum on Access to Finance for Cashew Processing

    The ‘Groupement des Industriels du Cajou de Côte d'Ivoire (GIC-CI), in collaboration with the African Cashew Alliance (ACA), is organizing an ‘Access to Finance for Cashew Processing’ Forum from 7-8 December 2017 at the Azalaï Hotel in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The forum is supported by the GIZ Competitive Cashew Initiative (ComCashew) and the Conseil Coton Anacarde (CCA).

    This two-day event will bring together, banks, financial institutions, financial advisors and cashew processors to discuss possible and feasible ways to increased access to finance for cashew processing. Presentations, exhibitions, panel discussions, and personalized ‘business-to-business’ meetings with financial advisors, banks and financial institutions will significantly enhance technical and strategic knowledge on accessing the financial opportunities for investment in the cashew value chain.

    Commercial Banks and financial institutions will be enlightened on the cashew sector in Africa and the need for financing for value addition. They will also have the opportunity to market their available products and detail processes involved in accessing finance.Expo and B2B meetings for bankers and cashew processors will crown the forum, providing on-spot business linkages for both cashew processors and banks.ACA and its partners continue to support and work towards a competitive cashew industry in Africa!
