  • Cashew exports increased 22% in November 12/07/2020

    Generally in the first 11 months of 2020, the export of cashew nuts was estimated at 468 thousand tons, worth $ 2.94 billion, up 13.3% in volume, but still down 1.8% in value over the same period in 2019. The average export price of cashew nuts in November was estimated at US $ 6,207 / ton, up 3.5% compared to October, but down 12.7% compared to November 2019. Generally, in the first 11 months of 2020, the average export price of nuts was estimated at 6,276 USD / ton, down 13.3% over the same period in 2019. According to calculated data from the General Department of Customs, the W180 cashew nut export reached 1.84 thousand tons, worth 13.76 million USD, up 221.3% in volume and 169.5% in value compared to that of October 2019. In the first 10 months of 2020, the export of W180 cashew nuts reached 10.4 thousand tons, valued at 78.2 million USD, up 85.9% in volume and 65.3% in value over the same period in 2019. In which, exports of W180 cashew nuts to some main markets increased, including: China, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Australia; America, Hong Kong; In contrast, exports of W180 cashew nuts to some other markets decreased, such as: Saudi Arabia, Jordan.
