A training of cashew farmers to improve the quality of the crops in Issia

Issia- A hundred cashew farmers from the seven sub-prefectures of the department of Issia were trained in the technique of separation of the cashew apple from the nut with a string, to improve the quality of the crops.

 

The training was initiated on Friday by the West-Central Regional Directorate of the National Agency for Rural Development Support (ANADER). This program is funded by the Competitive Fund for Sustainable Agricultural Innovation.

 

For the technician superior to the ANADER, Ouattara Valy, the popularization and the diffusion of the methods aim at the quality of the production of cashew nut. Peasants in the west central zone will be regularly recycled under this project, he said.
